Romans

  1. 2:1  Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
  2. 2  But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
  3. 3  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
  4. 4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
  5. 5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
  6. 6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
  7. 7  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
  8. 8  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
  9. 9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
  10. 10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
  11. 11  For there is no respect of persons with God.
  12. 12  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
  13. 13  (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
  14. 14  For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
  15. 15  Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
  16. 16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
  17. 17  Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
  18. 18  And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
  19. 19  And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
  20. 20  An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
  21. 21  Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
  22. 22  Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
  23. 23  Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
  24. 24  For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
  25. 25  For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
  26. 26  Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
  27. 27  And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
  28. 28  For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
  29. 29  But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
  30. Romans

  31. 1  Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
  32. Psalms

  33. 50:16  But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
  34. 17  Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
  35. 18  When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
  36. 19  Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
  37. 20  Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
  38. 21  These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
  39. 22  Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
  40. 23  Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
  41. Romans

  42. 2:11  For there is no respect of persons with God.
  43. Deuteronomy

  44. 10:17  For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
  45. II Corinthians

  46. 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
  47. Revelation

  48. 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
  49. Romans

  50. 2:6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
  51. Jeremiah

  52. 17:10  I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
  53. Galatians

  54. 6:7  Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
  55. 8  For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
  56. John

  57. 5:28  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
  58. 29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
  59. Romans

  60. 2:6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
  61. 7  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
  62. 8  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
  63. 9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
  64. 10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
  65. 12  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
  66. Luke

  67. 12:47  And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
  68. Romans

  69. 2:12  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
  70. John

  71. 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
  72. The Acts

  73. 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
  74. Romans

  75. 2:7  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
  76. Ephesians

  77. 8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
  78. 9  Not of works, lest any man should boast.
  79. Romans

  80. 3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
  81. 2:17  Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
  82. 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
  83. James

  84. 2:14  What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
  85. 15  If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
  86. 16  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
  87. 17  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
  88. 18  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
  89. 19  Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
  90. 20  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
  91. 21  Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
  92. 22  Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
  93. 23  And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
  94. 24  Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
  95. 25  Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
  96. 26  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
  97. Romans

  98. 28  For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
  99. 29  But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
  100. 5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
  101. 4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
